Pin Lock

The Fast acting Pin-Lock design was the founding feature of the Extend-A-Wand concept. Rugged design features ensure a positive hold with stainless steel pin and a heavy-duty spring. Made from glass filled nylon the body is impact resistant and operates well under high heat applications. Our testing has proven that this design is up to 10x faster than common screw type connectors. Operating the pin lock is easy, simply depress the lever and the pin lifts out of the positioning hole. Slide the extension to the desired length and release the lever. In just seconds you are washing again.

Flat-Sided Extensions

Having the nozzle in-line with the trigger gun is one of the most important operational characteristics of a long wand. With the Extend-A-Wand you can forget about aligning the nozzle forever. Our engineered flat-sided aluminum extrusions keep the nozzle in-line with the trigger gun at all times. This is because the extrusion rides along a track created in the Pin Lock body saving you valuable washing time daily. The extrusions are also strong, having .064" wall thickness with a large diameter tube makes the Extend-A-Wand very rigid. Even at 24' our wand bends only 4" at the end making it very easy to control under pressure. All of our aluminum tubes are anodized creating a protective coating and good looks too.

Fastening System

The mounting systems begins with a unique fastening system designed by Extend-A-Wand. Using air craft threaded inserts along with a custom designed assembly machine we are able to permanently fasten the inserts to the wands handle. This eliminates timely field repair when replacing the gun plus gives a secure mounting for the gun assembly.

Universal Gun Mount

Designed to be field repairable the gun mount is made to accept the standard ST2605 Suttner gun. However linear type guns can also be easily installed when required. Included in the design is an anti-chafing ring to protect the hose against wear on the tube handle. Made from tough glass filled nylon the gun mount can handle daily abuse any contractor can throw at it.

Trigger Gun

After a lengthy study the Suttner ST2605 trigger gun was chosen for its excellent service life, pressure rating, relax action system and good ergonomics. Rated at 5000psi this gun can handle the toughest jobs easily.

End Fitting and Quick Attach System

Our quick change end fitting allows for easy field repair of the high-pressure hose by removing the two stainless steel fasteners. Simply pull the fitting out and remove the hose. With a standard threaded quick coupler replacing your favorite attachment has never been easier. Change between fan nozzle to rotating nozzle to a brush in seconds with a secure hold. No quick couplers to leak or wear out as on other systems.
