Many high pressure pumps used for pressure washing have been adapted to pump machine coolant in high pressure coolant systems. Often these coolant systems use petroleum-based glycol liquids such as ethylene glycol, propylene glycol, etc. Most of these glycols are
chemically compatible with the factory seals used in high pressure pumps (including Buna-N rubber), and do not require special Viton™ or EPDM seals.
If you have a high pressure machine coolant system that is still under warranty or under a service contract we strongly advise you continue to work with the manufacturer of your equipment to address pump failures and service issues. However, once no longer in warranty you can save money and keep your equipment in operation longer by servicing your high pressure coolant pumps with OEM repair parts and kits.
On this page we have identified a handful of pumps from Giant Industries and Annovi Reverberi that are used in machine coolant systems from
ChipBLASTER®. There are certainly others being used in the industry, if you want help identifying a pump in your coolant system please
